Day 1
Mumbai → Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga → Pune

Distance:

  • Mumbai to Bhimashankar: ~215 km (6 hrs)
  • Bhimashankar to Pune: ~110 km (3 hrs)

  • Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga – Located in the Sahyadri ranges, famous for both its spiritual importance and natural beauty.
  • Scenic drive through the Western Ghats.
  • Proceed to Pune for night stay.

Day 2
Ashtavinayak Yatra (From Pune)

Route & Distance:
Covers 8 temples across ~650 km total in circular route:

  • Moreshwar (Morgaon)
  • Siddhatek
  • Ballaleshwar (Pali)
  • Varadvinayak (Mahad)
  • Chintamani (Theur)
  • Girijatmaj (Lenyadri)
  • Vighnahar (Ozar)
  • Mahaganapati (Ranjangaon)

  • Ashtavinayak Temples – 8 sacred temples of Lord Ganesha, each with a unique legend and style.
  • Option to do in 1 long day with an early start or split into 2 days if you prefer relaxed travel.

Day 3
Pune → Shirdi (Sai Baba Darshan)

Distance: ~185 km (5 hrs)

  • Drive through Ahmednagar district.
  • Shirdi Sai Baba Temple – One of the most visited pilgrimage destinations in India.
  • Visit Samadhi Mandir, Dwarkamai, Chavadi, Lendi Baug.

Shirdi → Shani Shingnapur → Nashik

Distance:

  • Shirdi to Shani Shingnapur: ~70 km (1.5 hrs)
  • Shani Shingnapur to Nashik: ~165 km (4 hrs)

  • Shani Shingnapur Temple – Devoted to Lord Shani; famous for houses without doors.
  • Proceed to Nashik, a key site in the Ramayana and host of the Kumbh Mela.
  • Visit Panchavati, Ram Kund, Kalaram Temple.

Day 5
Nashik → Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga → Aurangabad

Distance:

  • Nashik to Trimbakeshwar: ~30 km (1 hr)
  • Trimbakeshwar to Aurangabad: ~215 km (5 hrs)

Highlights:

  • Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga – One of the most sacred Shiva temples, near the source of the Godavari River.
  • Drive through vineyards and countryside en route to Aurangabad.

Overnight: Aurangabad

Day 6
Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga → Ellora Caves

Distance:

  • Aurangabad to Grishneshwar: ~30 km (1 hr round trip)

  • Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga – The 12th Jyotirlinga, built in traditional Hemadpanthi style.

Aurangabad → Aundha Nagnath

  • Parli to Mumbai: ~500 km (10–12 hrs)
